Any suggestions? We're looking at Rabbitt Ears. What the best way to get there from southern MN? How about lodging? Planning on arriving on Feb. 27. How are the current conditions? How about good guides? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Rabbit Ears

I think alot of guys from the midwest travel I-80 to Laramie, then turn south on Hwy 230 to Walden- then Steamboat.

Hmm...thought I had replied to this the other day. Must have screwed up~lol.
Coming through Laramie and Walden is shorter is the roads and weather are good. Otherwise go through Denver and west on 70. Get off at the Dillon exit after the tunnel and head to Kremmmling. Bushmaster on here practically live at Muddy Creek lot so he'd be a good resource for any guides. Kremmling has a couple motels. The Arlington is new and decent rates. Not much in town though and 40 minutes from the top. Steamboat has alot of stuff. Rabbit Ears motel is sled friendly and good rates. Hit the Tugboat bar on the hill later:wine: Snow is good right now. Got dumped on last week/wnd. Want any more info pm with your number and I'll give you a shout

its in ski time square, dont recomend it though its changed over the last few years,i would hang out down town many places there.if you need a safe place to park your sleds i live at the bottom of rabbit ears feel free to pm me.
