Look What I added to my trailer

I just got done converting my enclosed trailer into a goose neck. I still have a few more things to do, but it's tow ready as of now. I am extending the diamond plate out to the front of the hitch, and enclosing it making a tool box in-between the hitch and the front of the trailer, also I have a 20 gallon fuel tank that will mount above the tool box on the vertical part of the hitch and be gravity fed with a quick couple hose, and lastly a spare tire mounted on the front of the goose.

That looks nice was this a kit or did you fab this up your self and have you towed with it yet??

Ambitious aren't ya! Looks good, how did it change your towing capabilities from just a regular bumper hitch?

Well what we found out from last year is that on icy roads with the wind blowing the trailer isn't pushing the pickup around, and with the trailer over the axle of the pickup, it doesn't fell like there is all the resistance of pulling from the bumper. It should be a nice addition to the snowmobile season.

welding is a blast for sure, especially when everything stays aligned and works out as planned. awesome job!! what size tubing and wall thickness did you use?

That is a REALLY cool idea for sled trailers. It also keeps the ramps from hitting the bumper of your truck.

Awesome job. I always thought that would be the ticket but I'm not a welder. I had heard some one in Canada was making them but never could find one so I gave up on the Idea.

no kidding, that definately has some huge benefits. you could spin that sucker around in a 4' parking lot. and the weight over the axle is a huge plus for the windy/icy roads!

That's awesome dude, I was once unsure about goosenecks until i bought my3rd horse trailer. I had 2 bumper pulls and then bought this gooseneck. Talk about a dream to pull. I love how the weight is over the rear axles (dont buck) and you can swing it around anywhere.

I would buy a goose over a bumper pull anyday..

Great job..
