Look 7x21 Warranty issue very disappointed so far!

So I picked up my brand new 7x21 Look Element Puresport the end of November. I have used it on 9 snowmobile day trips (avg 120 miles per trip). On the last outing (1 week ago this last Saturday) I noticed the outer edge of the front tire on the drivers side had worn past the wear bars. I walked around to the other side and the front tire was worn down on the outer edge but not quite as far as the driver side front tire.

So I took some pictures and emailed them to my dealer. He said he would call Look and see what they wanted to do. My dealer is in Idaho but I live in South Jordan, Utah. I am closer to the Look Manufacturing plant in Springville, UT so my dealer calls me back and said bring it down to the Look plant in Springville.
I took it down last Thursday morning. Today my dealer sends me an email end of day saying I should be hearing from the axle manufacturer! What does this mean? Seems to me Look is washing their hands on this deal. If the axle manufacturer sends me a new axle, who replaces it with the bad axle? Who pays for 2 new tires that are prematurely worn out? So far I am not happy!!!

Has anyone else had a similar experience with any trailer and how did the manufacturer handle it?

See below a picture of the front tire on the driver's side then the second picture is of the rear tire on the driver's side:

Wait, so your complaining but you don't know what is going on yet?

You might need to calm down.......until you know all the details.

I bought a new trailer a couple years back and had an issue with a Dexter Axle. Dexter sent a new axle to my dealer. The dealer put the new axle on the trailer and replaced both tires. I believe that they paid the dealer for the work but it did not cost me anything. But they did reach out to me in the process to get information about what was wrong and asked for some pictures. Most trailers that I have bought treat the axles as a separate item and that warranty is handled by the axle company not the trailer company.

Anyway good luck and keep us posted on what happens.

Hi All, happy to report that Look and the axle manufacturer (Lippert) really stepped up.

Lippert paid for 2 new axles, 2 new tires+rims, and the labor to change out everything and Look did the work.

Very happy with the end result. Kudos to Look and Lippert for taking care of their customer. Can a forum moderator change the title to resolved?

Thank you!
