So I picked up my brand new 7x21 Look Element Puresport the end of November. I have used it on 9 snowmobile day trips (avg 120 miles per trip). On the last outing (1 week ago this last Saturday) I noticed the outer edge of the front tire on the drivers side had worn past the wear bars. I walked around to the other side and the front tire was worn down on the outer edge but not quite as far as the driver side front tire.
So I took some pictures and emailed them to my dealer. He said he would call Look and see what they wanted to do. My dealer is in Idaho but I live in South Jordan, Utah. I am closer to the Look Manufacturing plant in Springville, UT so my dealer calls me back and said bring it down to the Look plant in Springville.
I took it down last Thursday morning. Today my dealer sends me an email end of day saying I should be hearing from the axle manufacturer! What does this mean? Seems to me Look is washing their hands on this deal. If the axle manufacturer sends me a new axle, who replaces it with the bad axle? Who pays for 2 new tires that are prematurely worn out? So far I am not happy!!!
Has anyone else had a similar experience with any trailer and how did the manufacturer handle it?
See below a picture of the front tire on the driver's side then the second picture is of the rear tire on the driver's side:
