We took the kids up to Lookout Pass on the Idaho/Montana border and spent the day doing boondocking training. My son is 7 and daughter is 8. I built these sleds last season but the kids didn't take to the trees much last year. Totally different this year! They were bored to death on the trail, but loved the trees and fresh powder.
This video is 8 year old Mackenzie on her first real hillclimb on a single track followed by 7 year old Colton doing some boondocking.
After Mom and Mackenzie started to head down the trail back to the truck, Colton and I did one last climb and boondocked down to the trail with Colton as lead dog.
