long track an edge

hey new to the board, looking for some info I want to put a 141 2" in my 600 edge x do i need different drivers or will the stock ones work also how deep of a notch would I need for the coolers

I would go with a 144 and what year is your edge?

its a 2001 600 edge x

Your stock drivers will work! Track's usa makes a kit and a track that is notched out for the coolers. I'd also do 144

When you take notches out of the lugs, it screws the track up big time. If you started with a camoplast challenger track, you may be able to salvage it and make it more than a glorified trench digging machine. The polaris stock tracks normally have lugs that are too narrow to begin with. When you take two 2 inch width swaths out of the track, you don't have much left. I owned a 136 XC that had the tracks notched. It was a piece of crap.

Notching you track does not ruin your track if you do it properly. I had a 1998 xc 600 with a 136x2" and notched it with no problems. Buy a good extension kit like tracks usa and a camo track and you will be set.
