Long Box Truck with a 7 foot deck

Guys

I am wondfdering if anyone has put a 7 foot deck in a long box (8foot). Only reassson I ask is I have two trucks and dont need to buy a second deck at this point, just want a back up plan.

If you guys have pics that would be great !

My first thought would be just leave a gap at the front of the box. Just mount it back far enough so the ramp clears the tailgate when its in the down position. Dont see why this wouldnt work. Eric

And I have the extension so that it will stick out a bit. at the back. I figured the same just wondering if anyone has done it. My concern is that I can get it far enough forward because of the back legs is all
