Lonesome lake area

Ive got a question? My buddy at work has been pesturing our group to go ride to Lonesome lake near Greenwater. Never heard of it before. Or seen it on any snow maps. Has anyone been up there on a snowmobile? If so whats there. Is it worth going? Thanks for your input.

Thats over by the west fork of the White River, in the Haller Pass area.

You take a right off of Hwy 410 onto FS 74 then 75, instead of the usual left onto the 70 road to Greenwater area.

I have ridden there in the past but it's been quite a long time ago and it was pretty much all trail riding back then. Might be better now.

Spent some time this summer grading of the roads around lonesome lake, 75, 7530,73, and such this late summer, I would imagine in late season with 8ft or so there could be some good areas, but guessing would mostly be a decent road ride, trees are getting pretty big up there. Haller pass has a few areas that might be better. I am pretty sure the 73 area is non motorized, which you can hook into just about a half mile from the 7530 which takes you to lonesome.

Was working on the fs74 last two days, about 8" at the washout at MP5. So probably 2+ ft up top on Haller?

I had no idea you could ride over there. I used to go up there a lot early season and for christmas trees. I'm guessing when there is a lot of snow down low, parking could be a problem.
