Locate Stolen Sleds

So it seems that I've read more posts about sleds being stolen this year than in previous years. Maybe more people are posting it, but it seems to be happening more and more. I stumble across this gadget that looks to maybe be worth its weight to attach to a snowmobile for the soul purpose of finding your sled if it ever gets stolen. You can read about it here http://www.davesgadgetworld.com/products/gps/trackstick/trackstick2/details.html

If it does what is says, man it could really be worth having especially for only $180.

correct, missed that spot. I was looking because a local guy had his fourwheeler stolen and was able to located using a device similar to this at he had mounted on it. It sent a signal to a network that updated every 30 min, updating its location. Thought I had possibly found the device, but guess not. my bad, jumped the gun.

still good for getting the ideas into guys heads keep looking and post what you find

Idea for Stolen Sleds on here

Why don't we have a subforum for stolen sleds only?

This would separate them from the regular GENERAL forum and allow then to be combined in an area where they're easy to find.

Nobody would regularly look in that section though.......

Speed is the essence to finding the sleds, so a common spot that everybody looks at is where I would like the thread to land if I had my sled stolen........

I agree with Jeff. I'm always looking at the general stuff and go to the subforums when I'm looking for something specific. I doubt I would ever look at a subforum for stolen sleds unless I had mine stolen or a close buddy and needed help.
