Anyone going sledding around Portland...Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Hood, Estacada..etc on Friday that could tolerate a tag-a-long. Can't ride for S*#$ but do have a shovel. Let me know. Thanks.

I am lobbying for a ride at HooDoo on Sunday. Hope the passes are cleared and opened by then!

White F350 Crew Cab, sled deck and two 04 800 RMKs.

we went up sunday above estacada on sunday and the pow was great rode 60 miles in 30 inches of snow went up to ollolie lake was so cool had 7 of us 1 was the daughter of the owner of Mt Hood Polaris........we were the only ones up there that day never came accross another rider ...........thinking of going to adams or st helens maybe even back up to where we were.............go have a burger in detroit ..........

I ride to Ollalie from the Detroit side. Unfortunately they plow 46 up to the hot springs out of Detroit. I am not sure you would have enough room on the side of the road to ride into Detroit for a burger.
I have seen Little John and his group there in the past but we choose to ride another area last weekend that was opened up with the low snow.

Be careful if you ride there this weekend slides could be a problem in some of the areas.

I might be able to make Hoodoo on Sat. or Sun. Anybody know how long the drive is from Clackamas?? What snopark do you go to? I would be interested in the Estacada area from that side as well. Just want to go somewhere!

Probably about 2.5 hours. Clackamas to Salem to HooDoo Ski Bowl/Ray Benson Sno park.

EDIT: Not to discourage you from HooDoo, but you should check out the Washington section to inquire about riding partners for Adams or St. Helens. Downfall about the separate conditions links, I guess.

nowhere to park at Ray Benson!

I drove through ray benson this afternoon thinking about a night on my back from Mt Bachelor...., there is absolutely no place to park! There is a single lane plowed going in and asingle lane around the outside perimeter of the lot! The rest of the lot is covered in 3-4 ft of snow! Do they plow the lot? are they just behind because of all the hwy closure and what not? I was thinking about heading back up for friday or saturday and am wondering if I will be able to park! I certainly could not have today.

Well I'm going to go for it on friday night or Sat morning. We'll be in a bigfoot motorhome with a siver interstate. Hit us up, I always have lotsa beer! Otherwise see ya at the HSCC meeting next week.

Scott and Tracey

When I talked to ODOT about Corbett closing, they indicated that plowing the snoparks is second the to the roads. With the highway being closed three times this week, I bet they haven't had a chance to get in there. In addition, I suspect it wasn't plowed much over the holidays because it was just too full of rigs.

I am taking a newbie pal of mine from work on his first snowmobile ride Saturday at Mt Hood. We'll probably be at Frog Lake or Skyline. Check the photo in my Avitar and look for us there.

well it was raining at st helens today is giveing the snow a great base to build on......i hear the freezing level is coming down tonight and we are suposed to get 2-3 inches more might be a good day to ride above estacada .........

i have been there a 1/2 dozen times and couldnt tell you the names of the parking lots but the lot with the warming hut was plowed thats where we parked.....if that helps we were there about a hour it was raining so hard we left..................it was sleeting at the laharr it sucked...............
