Local guys visit Utah

We had a great weekend.

A short stop in Elko(see the Rubies post) and then off to Utah. We teamed up with the OVS boys and had two great rides.

The first day was pretty funny with lots of stucks and a little swimming. I didn't get a pic of the swimming, but Doug tried his hand at water skipping. Let's just say he scared the wildlife out of the pond.....

The next day we went to Tony Grove.

It started out nasty, but then the sun had mercy on us and we had a great ride. Even had to get out some sun screen.

Our tour guide was Paul on the good looking yammi. Dustin's yammi didn't fair too well the day before so he had the old reliable 700TurboPoo singing.

We were lead across some ridgetops with only enough room for a single track. Needless to say the views were spectacular and the climbs and decents were outrrrrrrrrrrageous. I'm sure glad we all were riding turbos......yahooooooooooooooooo!

He did get a new track, but he picked on a beaver pond that had no clean entrance and exit strategy......er the beaver had an exit strategy, but Doug's sled stayed put.....LOL

A few minutes later, Travis fell in helping get Dustin's Yammi out, so by the time we got back to trucks, there were some pretty cold dudes. All in all, it was a pretty comical day.......well worth the price of admission............LOL
