You or someone you know riding?? That is pretty funny. Bet they were all questioning that at the starting line. But they weren't after the first lap. He just went right at it.

People were scratching their heads.. Most had never seen a real trials bike..
Then there was, as always, the "Where's the Seat" question ...
It was weird, I had my own cheering section and my own "haters" section.. Like always I guess..
Since there was nowhere to "warm up" and get your muscles loose, I got arm pump extremely bad after the 1st loop and then when the final came, I still had arm pump and they added another 2 laps (5 total) and another 3 riders (8 total)...
So, the final was a Cluster F! Did not win that one and felt like I was in a bumper car event getting ram-rodded from both ends..LOL.. I was in pure survival mode in the final..it was a war out there!!LOL
The track is VERY narrow and 8 bikes was overloading it bad!...Couple that with the 95 degree day and my "out of shape" 45 year old muscles and after 5 laps it may have been the most exhausted I have been in my life!!

Tim, you should have come.. Itis VERY different than a trials event.. You can not pick a line and stay on it, you need to go as fast as you can, and then you keep getting "bumped" and "cut-off".. Then when you finally get in the clear, you run into a "hung up" bike and there goes your line choice again.. especially the more bikes you have in the heat race...
It was my first time and it was very different.. I will tell you it is very exhausting..... No breaks for 4-5 minutes of bumpity-bump... Then the water turned the dirt into grease , my front tire was completely plugged up with mud so it was like riding with a slick... In the final, it was so slick I went to pull up over the 2nd to last set of tires and my tire just spun and I went down...
Much prefer a real trials event.. But thre was a nice payout at this event..

Nice! That was good watching! 
That was fun to watch. Thanks for posting. Those guys had to be pissed watching you finesse your way through the course. LMAO Maybe they had a strategy in the final to make sure you didn't cross the line first.
