Loading sleds without damaging hinges

Only thing I could think is to install some kind of short ski guide on each side so it would carry the carbide over the hinge without hitting it. Not sure if it would allow the foldout to fold all the way back so the door would shut, but it would be an option. I saw on another site some guy put HD belting across the gap between the door and trailer so snow/debris wouldn't jam it up. Could do the same thing over the hinge. Again, not sure how well that would hold up to carbides going over it or letting the foldout fold back up to shut the door. Replacement hinges are all that expensive are they?

In case you didn't look at my link.... that's what I was suggesting. I think they'll work out pretty good.

Sorry about that I must have missed it. I'm not much of a morning person so forgive me! Thanks for providing a solution for me!

I still have concerns as to wether the hinge will still get dinged up on the glides but I guess the only way to find out is to order a set!

I haven't got a set installed yet, but by looking at them it looks like there is enough of an arch in them to keep the ski's elevated enough to miss the hinge part.

Just put a set of these Caliber glides on mine. Only used it a few times since but they seem to work pretty good. My carbides do not touch the hinge either
