Loading Sleds in 7' x 27' trailer?

Just bought an MTI 7x27 inline trailer. This is my first enclosed and was wondering what the correct placement is of the sleds should be. Do you load front to back and just stagger? Or drive in the back and out the front? Kind of a dumb question, just wondering how the trailer was "designed" to be loaded. Also, how many sleds will fit? We will have 2 141" Crossfires, 1 136 Rev, and 1 144" Nytro XTX. Will a fifth sled fit or not? Thanks for the replies.

I have an enclosed roughly the same size. If you want to get four sleds in you will have to drive one in then back one in. Not to bad if they all have reverse. If you just stagger them all facing forward you will more than likely only get three sleds in. I don't think its possible getting five sleds in.

The width is what's going to determine how many you can fit. Is the inside measurement only 7'? Measure the widths of the skis, if 2 sleds are greater than the width of the trailer you're going to have to stager the sleds. It it's less than the width or close enough to squeeze two side by side, then you're good to go. Side by side you can load 4 from the front or rear I've never noticed a difference in pulling. When it comes to that fifth sled, load from the front facing the rear of the trailer. first 2 side by side then the next 2 side by side then pull their tunnels to the side walls. Then drive the fifth one in between the last two and tuck its tunnel into the "v".

Good luck

The 7 wide trailers are designed to be loaded from the front and staggered. The first sled you load put at the rear passenger side of trailer. This will leave the 4th sled loaded to go on drivers side which works best(assuming your front door is on drivers side) You will have no problem fitting them all in, but will not get a 5th in.

We haul 4 sleds with the smallest being a 155 in a 27' with no problems what so ever.

We have a trailer in our group the same size and you can fit 5 sleds in it if there all going to be around the 136 to 144 range. It will be a tight fit but it is possible. Load them all from the front ramp door.

We have a 29x7 and we fit 5 sleds in it: a 163, two 154's, and two 146's. You would not fit these same sleds in a trailer that was 27' long. We really have to try to fit em in the 29'.

Will 4 153" fit in a 7x 22' plus V-nose? or only shorties(or a combo of shorties/hybrids? I dont mind the effort of squeezing them in if it will actually work? The trailer salesman says to go with 24'...but I have the ability to store the 7x22' inside a building, but not the 7x24'.
