Living in Libya

I'm Graduating this Semester from Colorado State University and recently got a job offer in Libya. My question is has anyone lived there or in a foreign country and what are your recommendations. Any input is appreciated!!

Never lived there, but did help bomb it back in the mid 80's. They did become a much nicer people after that. Eldorado Canyon, ah.. the good ol' days..
