There is a colorado forum, where this thread might get more of a response. I dont think many people who live in the mountains really care about politics. The best political thing about Colorado is we have the right to chose medical marijuana or not. Finacially the small mountain towns are hurting pretty bad. I live in Silverthorne, and buisness has been down 30 percent for almost a year. Tourism was down last winter, which made for a slow, long summer. And i think this winter coming up will be a little slower than last winter. Locals are losing their jobs, and moving away. Which means less customers for the buisness up here. I know that towns like Breck, Vail, Crested Butte, Aspen, Teulluride, etc are having a really tough time finacially right now. Not sure about place like Durango and Ouray. I would love to live in Durango though. I would ride the hell out of Silverton and Wolfcreek. Most people ive met in those areas are really laid back and nice.
