Live from Easton, WA Dude where's my cabin?

Yep - When I shoveled snow at my cabin at Lake Cle Elum on Thurs, total snow depth was up to my waist.......

Do you think I can get the kids to the Dillon cabin and if so is anything beat down for KID riding like the medow or the shore? I'm dying to get up there and ride but dont want to spend the next 2 days digging.

Eric: You can get to the cabin fine. Pine-Loch Drive had had a lot of traffic from the folks that live year around. I dropped Down from Sandstone to Slo-Mo-Shun, so you can follow my tracks in, mine were the only ones when I left Thurs.

I had to go on to Wenatchee that day, so I didn't get to check any trails, meadows or the lake bed....As I was leaving, a guy and his wife were on 2 sleds heading past the lodge down to the lake, so I'm sure it's all tracked up by now.......I say go for it......with all those cabins, someone has to have been out and broken trail by now....G'luck...

I live off the Golf Course road exit.
It warmed up a bit yesterday and the snow has setup a bit.
It's actually pretty easy to get around without getting stuck!

Where are the pictures???

How was the drive around??LOL

Pass opened this morning.

Pictures? You know I dont take pictures. The loop around Stevens wasnt thrilling but I got the job done. Awesome deep snow and didnt see another sled all day. At 6:37P snowing and its been snowing most of the afternoon at 2200ft. I'd estimate 2-4 of fresh here in Easton. We played it safe and stayed low but there is so much powder you really dont need to knock yourself out and head up high.

Have a good time---But no good without pictures!!!

Just taking your word for it. Get the shovel out and stop riding!

I am in the same area. In Goats Peak. About 4 feet of powder along the John Wayne trail, up to the gates.

My cabin sits at the top of the property and there was about 5 feet new powder. I did not have time to get out to the trails but played on the property and got stuck. :)

There was no base underneath. Again 5 feet of powder.

This is the most I have seen since 98-99 when it was about 10 feet of snow.

Snow was super deeeeep over there this weekend and i can't remember the guy's name that took the picture's but he is supposed to post them on here of a group of about 20 guy's pulling two dumna**es sled's out of lake Kachess today. I think they had a little to much to drink last night !!!!:D

I heard about that. Did they get them out?

Yes, i wish i had my camera with me they went out on the lake with a canoe and a chain with a "j" hook and a bunch of rope and we pulled both out .

Rode Woods and Steele today, The snow has definitley set up so you can get around fairly easy, but there is still enough to stick it (ask me how I know). Not even the deepest pow pow I have ridden in this year, slightly dissapointing honestly.
