i rode on wed before this last bit of snow and the conditions were interesting...it was a bit like riding on recently cured, rutted concrete with a couple of inches of fresh on top. The last storm of 6 or 8 inches should help things though. Really good bite on the sleds but if you broke the top surface you would sink pretty good.
The most challanging aspect is the fact that, with all of the rain that fell last weekend or so, the creeks were really flowing and open. It made many spots impossible to cross.
