Any of you KTM riders (or any other brand) going to this event? Anyone know how parking is or where staging is? Were going to bring our 37' toyhauler and truck.

just got home from 60 miles with fordman, the Taneums still got alot of snow up high and I believe the Naches is closed with no opening date yet!!!!!
Is I missing somthing here? are fordman an graveler a couple
they sure spend alot of time together

Actually I emailed the prez of yakima valley dust dodgers( they put on the poker run) and they said the poker run is on and the roads opened yesterday.
See, my father-in-law drove over there last week to check it out and it was all blocked off for logging and clean up. Well, the day he left they opened it back up. Figures...

even if its next week the quartz area will be snowed in still as windy pass....not very warm over there lately.....

I was up in that area yesterday, still lots of snow around the 4k marker. Made for some interesting riding with the klr and gripsters...
We didn't run into much snow on Saturday. We ran the Hoit Minning Trail, Up Frost Mtn, part of Shoestring, etc. We had a few sections that were a little sloppy from snow Melt, but it was fun. My sparkplug boot was taking a crap, 10 miles from staging, and we got caught in the storm. It was just starting to sprinkle about 4-5 miles out from staging and BAM! Open water spout! We had to ride over one more ridge and drop down where we were parked, and all the trails turned into creeks instantly! Made for a crappy last 20 minutes of the day! But it was all worth it!
P.S. Naches should be open. I called FS last week, it was supposed to open today officially, but saw on Thumpertalk that they ended up opening early on the 12th.

we parked in easten and rode down the powerline to the woods and steel road, then up to the trails and worked our way back!!!
