little dudes riding gear

So who makes some sweet riding gear for the little guys?? I have a two year old that is the size of a three year old and want to get him some sweet gear this year. He had a FXR jacket last winter but has outgrown it. Want to set him up in some matching gear that will keep the kid warm without looking like the michelin dude.

Any pic's of links would be awesome!!

HMK is coming out with some good stuff for the kids this year. I seen a new catalog, but the last time I checked their website is wasn't up to date with what was in the new catalog.

My daughter wore a Choko coat for 3 years and the bibs for two. I was happy with its performance for what it cost and how it lasted.

check out the snowboard companies..they have been making little kids gear for years.

most important thing is a lightweight helmet that fits and a neck donut. This will make it easier to hold up the helmet for longer periods of time..plus it's just safer!

I started taking my 2 kids in to my cabin(45 miles one way) when they were 2 and 4...this is what we learned...unless it is real warm...cold is the enemy...turtle fur and a full face helmet(with electric sheild if it is cold, other wise goggles or standard shield will fog and the kid cant see..so they get bored and go to sleep or dont enjoy the ride), good boots with hand warmers in them ...duck tape the boots to the bibs...otherwise they will fall off and you wont know it...mits for the hands with handwarmers again duck taped to the jacket so they dont fall off...and teach him to hold on to the mountain bar..and I highly recomend one of the kid harnesses that strap the kid right to you..that way if they fall a sleep or you crash the kid goes with you...clothes wise..ski gear is great but add lots of base layers..we just bought factory polaris gear..it always worked great and was plenty warm...the neck brace is a great idea as well....we also used collet communicators...that way we could chat and point things out to the kids as well as talk the wife thru tricky spots on the trail and call needed stops..helps alot cause you can get a little wilder (carve in the powder, small ski lifts and such) and know how the kid responds..they were a great addition to a family ride..

SnoRider! My boys had that stuff while they were younger and it was warm. Right now at 8 and 11 they get whatever looks cool, usually Columbia gear and it also works great.

Really surprised no one has said Klim yet as they think the most expensive is the best. At least they do for themselves but not their kids.

yea marv, oddly I dont own any klim gear, have a set of hmk pro boa boots I got last year but otherwise all my gear is polaris as well, and I believe both the kids and the old lady should have better gear then you ...if you want them to do your hobby and enjoy it....(course no old lady here..lol)...the kids still have mostly all polaris gear with darn good under layers mostly from rei....
