Well if it wasn't for the dam burnt trees....July. Since the bottom is melting out pretty fast....2 weeks maybe. If we were able to bust a trail on the other side of the bridge up the embankment there it would be much later. For some reason the snow on that ridge on the other side of the creek lasts longer. Might be worth coming in this summer and cut down a couple trees so we can get up there for 4th of July next year.

Sledhed, BlueFluff and I are meeting at the Conoco in Bonner tommorrow mornign at 8:30 a.m. Unless it's pouring rain we should be in Lincoln around 10 or so.

Everyone is welcome. Hope the weather cooperates.

Great day at Cooper Creek today. It's a piece of cake since you can drive right to the trail head for the bowls. Just unload and start heading up. Didnt even have to bushwhack one time today but over the next week or so I suspect you will have to bushwhat a bit heading in and out of the bowls. Partly cloudy but still lots of sun with no rain. The road in does have some washboard sections that rattle your brain.

As far as the bowls go, Main bowl, lake bowl, to the left of lake bowl, and to the right of main bowl all in excellent condition upon arrival. Not so great upon departure as we left no snow untracked and burned about a full tank of gas in the process. Left a major carbon footprint up there today!

There is stll A LOT of snow and it's set up right now so a guy can climb anything in sight. Any line you can imagine you could have done it today. My riding ability is fair but today I was superman. Either that or somebody must have installed a turbo on my sled without me knowing about it.

I suspect tomorrow and this weekend will continue to offer excellent riding with easy access in and out.

Keep it a secret but Blue Fluff set the highmark all day long.

Fun day!

It was a fun day up there today! We will post a few pics tomorrow. Only ran into two local sledders who came up there late and gawked at our tracks in the lake bowl. :D Fluff says thanks for the props but we all know who set the high marks today... :D

Lincoln Thursday May 29

Still no bare patches yet from the parking lot up to the bowls! But the snow is pretty heavy.

wish I could go with ya one last time Doug, Crank Shop finally sent me some choke tubes for those pipes and I want to try them out but I got my folks in town this weekend.

well to day was the last day to get in CC bowls and the rideing was good but the snow breges are gone now:mad: but it was a good last ride:D
Didn't know there were any snow bridges based on last Thursday's ride. *L* Snow conditions up there last Thursday were as good as April other than a few spots on the way up that were slightly thin (and I mean just a few)... Pics would be cool tho! I would like to see how much it changed up there since last week...

There's got to be a bunch of new snow, any body drive up there and look? Thinking about going up on Friday. Would like to go Sat. but we have a motorcross event to host.
