Just installed and waiting,,,i've heard some bad after I installed it so,,,if I were to do it again,,,KMOD or Moutain tammer 2012 version. Only reason I did the yammi one was I got it cheap..Time will tell.

can anyone tell me the weight shed from the lightweight yammi skid and the mountain tamer skid.

Timbersled claims that the Mountain Tamer on the Nytro saves 20 to 30 pounds depending on shock package and year of Nytro!

If I remember on my yammi lightweight they claimed 25 but it was around 17 to 20#. Remember if you get the yammi kit for around 850$ to 929$ are you going to do the install yourself or have a shop do it?,,it's not a quick update..so remember shop labor rates an hour. The MTamer just uses exsiting holes and I think in the back you might want there drop brakets for like 150$. Check their page. Here is a pic of the right inside cutting and drilling you have to do for the new fron arm positioning.

Ive installed 2 of the lightweight skids on 270 turbo nytro's. Both builds included CR tunnels. Alot more work that installing a Timbersled. I havent tested the Yamaha skid yet. One was sold to a customer in BC. He likes it. I know the Timbersled works great. It would be my pick.

I installed the yammi on my nytro in about 1/2 day. I really like the response versus the stock 2010 SE and weight loss was 18lbs not 25.
One thing I do not like is the rear arm mounts so low in the rails it accumulates "Alot of Snow." So I'm having a local machine shop fab up another arm without the cross shaft so snow can pass through.

I have heard nothing but bad about timbersled rear and front suspensions, but good about FAST, EZ ride.

Funny how you NEVER seem to get the "advertised" weight savings!

As for the snow buildup.
Do you think it was more than the stock?
My SE seems to hold PLENTY of snow in the track.

Ya know I think these guys are smoken the stuff when they decide on an advertised weight savings. 18 =25 go figure.

As for snow buildup, its much more than stock. Its actually starts to impact the suspension in wet heavy conditions. "just wont kick it out"

I'm taking the rear arm to the fab shop Friday, so I'll keep an update in mind.
