Alright kids, we HAVE TO HAVE 10 more people sign up for this class or it will be cancelled.
I know some like to just drop in, but for the sake of making sure
#1 the class doesn't get cancelled

The Alpine Safety Awareness Program (ASAP) is a community-based effort that uses local resources to teach alpine safety skills to children and adults throughout the Pacific Northwest. They aim to save lives and reduce injuries by proactively increasing alpine safety awareness. Since 1999, they have reached more than 30,000 students and adults through their programs. Their goal is to make safety a habit among all winter outdoor enthusiasts.
Mission:
The mission of ASAP is to save lives and reduce injuries by
proactively increasing alpine safety awareness.
History:
The Alpine Safety Awareness Program was founded in Bellingham, Washington in 1999 by a local ski patroller after several preventable deaths occurred in the backcountry of the North Cascades mountains. The curriculum is based on the Canadian Avalanche Association and their Snow Smart program with the goal of saving lives by preventing future avoidable accidents from happening.
Class Instructed By: Robert Hensel
Classes are instructed by professionally trained personell.
