It sure is nice having a great mountain range in the backyard. I went on a ride this morning with a bunch of ageing sledheads and one young guy on a T3 impulse turbo. We were fortunate to get an awesome snowfall earlier in the week in NE Nevada. There was enough new that we were having trouble climbing out of most the narrow chutes we normally pull with ease. Had a blast!!!! No broken hips or dislocated shoulders.

Wow. I didn't know the Rubies had so much snow this year. Looks awesome.

It turned out to be a pretty decent season considering the late start. If spring is kind we may be riding for another few weeks, if the next few weeks are overly warm we won't be able to reach the snow in just another week or two. We found some cold smoke again today. Great Ride!!

The storm oone the first week of APRIL was the coldest and most snow for 2015.

Unfortunately 4wd trucks wrecked & destroyed the entrance to the area I ride and the NFS closed the gates so no sledding ...

Sledding season officially ends in March for the Cali area close to me.

That's sad Don, you should come to Elko, we have asphalt to the snowline. I've been glancing at the radar on and off all day, it looks as though this weekend is shaping up for another great ride!!
