just discoverd my front license plate has gone missing.
I was parked at the upper parking lot at Hunters Range from 10 am - 5pm. on Sat Feb 5th. It definatly didnt tear off, it was delibertely taken off. I would never have known if it wasnt for the DICK cop that pulled me over and ticketed me 109.00 bucks for no front plate. Im sorry but Its really hard for me to respect a cop that has the nerve to ticket the good guy, while the real crimminal runs free. lazy power trippin waste of tax dollar Idiot. (if you are a police officer reading this now my apologies.... but, you have done the same or simalar thing before. If you havent you are sittin behind a desk back at the station).
This guy actually escorted out of my truck and into the back of his cruiser and accused me of avaiding a road check while DUI. on dec 2nd. not likely, I dont even drink. it was a road check 2 blocks from my home, its humilliating and potentially bad for business to be seen getting into the back of a cop car. After it was all over I parked and watched the road check. they were targeting trucks only, everyone else got to role through.
show of hands please.... how many people do a 360 walk around there vehicle everytime before they get behind the wheel. this was his grounds for the ticket.
It is the law in BC to have a front plate, but I think its a bigger crime to steel a plate....Yet I will pay for some thief to steel from me, not to mention the 18 bucks for new plates, and the 30 dollar plate cancelation fee.
To Sum it all up...I agree with ticketing for offenders, but a front license plate...CMONNNN
This makes me really nervous about leaving my vehicle while sledding....its just a sittin duck.
