case oil passage mod

do I need to open up the existing oil hole once I drill the cases?....and I have read to plug the existing feed line ....the one on the outside of the cases....can I leave it hooked up?...or is it a must to plug it?

Leave it plugged in, you want all the oil going there that you can get.

Did you drill the case down from above in the cylinder area to intersect with the oil hole on that side?

The other thing you need to do is open up the hole out to the seal groove. The new bearing will cover up the hole so you need to groove it out so that the oil/mix can go down between the bearing and the seal. Also, when you put it together, there are little tabs on the seal, make sure you orient it so they don't block the oil groove.

I don't have any pictures, sorry.

making sure

yup drilled 1/4 hole on about a 45 angle to intersect the stock line. you say to groove the oil hole to meet the seal ...basically the same as the other side on the cases rite?....should I slot the stock hole or leave it alone? I don't have the new crank yet but its onits way and once here I will set it in the cases and see what your talking about. I will also pay attention to the slot in the seal for oiling and I will leave the stock line hooked up...with the line running under the intake......thanks for the info helps tons

Yeah, ends up looking a lot like the other size.

Once you set your crank in there you will see what I'm talking about.
