2008 Avalanche Awareness for Primarily Snowmobilers; a four night lecture series with a single Sunday field session presented by the US Forest Service, Flathead National Forest. To obtain maximum benefit, participants are encouraged to attend all the evening lectures along with the all day Sunday field sessions. Program is free of charge and meets the Level 1 guidelines of the American Avalanche Association. There is no pre-registration and participants need only show at the door.
The lectures are scheduled at the Flathead National Forest Supervisor's Office, 650 Wolfpack Way (west of new Glacier High School), Kalispell, 6:30-9:30 pm, the following evenings:

Best direction is to take Reserve Loop (turn west off Highway 93 North at
the stop light just south of Costco), follow this west to Stillwater (the
new round-about), then just south a bit. The office is the only thing out
there, atop a slight hill on the east side of the road.
