Hey everybody, just wanted to let you know that the Sawtooth Avalanche Center is putting on a motorized specific Level 1 avalanche course January 14-16. It's two evening sessions and a full day in the field in the area around Ketchum. It is being taught by two of the instructors that taught the motorized specific Level 1 for the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center last year. Both have been snowmobiling since they were kids. It's $100 which is pretty darn cheap for a course like this.
