I just spent an entire Calc III class reading this thread, I've read every post because it is a riveting thread. Now I missed some important notes. Lucky I have friends who aren't addicted to this site, I'll bum notes off of them. none of my friends like talking politics, so I come on here to get my fill. Definitely worth it.

Nope, they dropped a lot of low income people off the Bill. Remember they where upset the health insurance industry turned on them, and acted all surprised. Those that can't afford health insurance and qualify, will get it for free. That way they can be treated like "providers" instead of leeches, when they show up at the doctors office, and demand the treatment and respect "THEY EARNED".

Threaten all your party, twist a few arms, don't hold a town hall meeting, because you'll become alarmed. Sweeten the deal with special language, promise $100 Million to the holdout's state, earmarks and pork barrel for the party faithful. Send little messages to the blue dogs around you, twist their ear until they howl.
Push it through subcommittee, add a bunch of stuff to the bill. Close debate in the Senate, and push for a voice vote. If they don't follow, threaten with the nuclear option. Now give a long speech, which will surely inspire the people. Tell them it's not socialism or communism, it's the new american way. Tell them the piece of paper, over in the Smithsonian, is a living document, and don't take it literal. Don't think like the founders did, think like Obama's commie friends.
Now it's pushed through the House and rammed through the Senate, with every vote following party lines, as it should be. Now take it to committee, and completely change the intent, take the worst of both, and glue them together with spit. Have a midnight vote, to push the bills through. Tell them it's too important to actually read, besides it's 2000 pages. Time is urgent, we can not wait, just trust me and vote how I say, and everything will be OK.
Now we have the Bill OK'ed, without anyone being the wiser. It's rushed to Obama's desk, for a picture oppourtunity signing. He grins, and shakes hands, and tells everyone good job. You just sealed your fate, you have added another entitlement. Another debt raiser. You don't even know what's in the bill, and the congressional budget office is so confused, they don't know what to say.
It's 2013, and our president Obama says, see health cares running in the black, because we haven't begun to pay. With and evil grin, and a sinister twinkle in his eye, Obama declares marshal law, because a $100 is the new dime.

But on a positive note I due know how the process works. Our (president) is also a lefty lib, and will not veto any of the bills taked about above!!! So IMO is is just as bad as the lefty libs that control congress!!!
On a bad note I have read the cape and trade 200 pager and there is not onething in there I like even a little!!!
I will say that even though this post was not entinded to turn out this way the friendly banter back and forth is just people voiceing then opinions!!! And we all don't have to be the same, thats what makes us individuals. So I will say its all good. As long as we all stick together on the sleding issues.
