This was Jeff sticking his 800 Doo in a stream bed... He was forced to follow the stream down a little valley. He boon docked accross a good 150 yards of the stream then he got bucked off and his sled landed sideways in the stream... i then came down into the valley to help and buried my sled... we dug for 5 hours. hell of a day.

Cooke city in 2006 Mike went into the creek off a 15 foot drop It took 13 guys the next day to get it out. The rope even cut through the track in the extraction process, but with that much manpower we horsed it out somehow. As you can see, Mike looked pretty bad the next day. Drank all night as he was just happy to be alive He gave up sledding after that though and sold it to another guy in our group {after the repairs}. Last year, the new owner drove it in another sink hole like this and barely got out. They went back to get the sled a couple days later, sled was gone!! Probably for the best. Bad luck sleds just never change their luck.

that's nasty! scares the ch!t outta me them holes like that, we were sledding late one spring and on the way back out one spot we had ridden over was above a creek, the snow above had collapsed into the creek. it was about 10 feet down to the water surface, the hole was around 30 feet long and 20 feet wide, the water was rushing so fast in that hole a guy would have been a goner if he fell in. I shudder to think of it to this day.

anyhoo, my contribution.....from a few weeks back
