Lets see some MM's or m'vipers!

Are you talking the "old" trailing arm models?

Watch out for the rocks.......

Whoops, that would be the motor-cult fridge.

05 Viper

Here is our 05 Viper Mtn 144 - with our new running board modification -

Has made it a world of difference for traction. My son rides this sled, has size 17 feet. Next mods will be pipes, new bars, and higher seat...

Oh yeah, and notice that modified trailing arm in the last picture, did some welding on that one - doesn't look nearly as cool as scmurs - but the same weak point.

What's a day of riding if you don't get out the duct tape, electrical wire and do a little tree harvesting. I think our guide had a logging permit. :)

:beer; That reminds me - I need to restock the tape in my sled from last weekend !

Old School

100_1503.jpg Love the old school, and as soon as its dialed in, lol, should keep up with most of the crowd, and it should since its almost 65 lbs lighter , and a few mods. dont think it will ever be done, enough.

Castlesledder,

Never forget the electrical wire. BTW, you make very nice products. Just sold my trusty Viper and will be going to a Nytro. There is definitely room for improvement on that one as well.

Yes you can.just contact bender racing. If I were to do it again I would stay with the smaller carbs and no case porting. You do get another 10 hp but the freezing carbs were not worth it. With this setup(and good clutching) I could hold off my buddies T-rx1 until 80 mph then he would go on by.

Built this Viper back in the day....

It has/had tons of goodies on it.

Bender 835cc
Bender triples ceramic coated
Remote fuel screws
MPI Ram air scoops
Pre filters
MPI Billet spindles
MPI Trailing arms
MPI Aluminum radius rods
MPI Tie rods
MPI 151 Tunnl with drop and roll
2-1/2 X 16 X 156 came extreme
Polaris Xtra lite skid
Rox riser

It is currently being parted out by it's current owner. Contact Mountain Boy on here or search Swap meet. He has many good mod parts for Vipers and some will even fit MM's.

Before my SCNytro I rode an '03 Viper.
Great sled.
If I had more storage space I probably would have kept it for a backup sled.
My nephew bought it, maybe I'll steal it back from him since he hasn't ridden it much.

Sixat38 has a sweet Viper, maybe I can get him to post a pic or two.
I think he runs about 52-55 mph honest track speed with a 162.
His favorite quote, "It's just a factory 696!" (which the motor really is, just pipes, head, perfect jetting/clutching/gearing etc.)

MNT Viper

Here are a couple of pics of my 2004 MNT Viper. I purchased it from the original owner in Sept.2007

It has 156"x2" ported track, motor work done by Lowell Horning, Peak Head with domes to match motor work, CPR Simmons pipes. The sled had NOS but I got the previous owner to remove it- I'm not young anymore-I just want to ride. Since I bought it, I got the pipes/flanges ceramic coated, installed a custom setup Polaris primary by Hartman, a Shockwave secondary, installed the hand guards and installed 2 new Ohlins shocks for the rear suspension and had the coils acid dipped to remove yellow rubber paint and then had the coils powdercoated in liquid silver metallic.
