The wife and I use ATV Gun Mounts and Bungee cords, to hold the kit till the mountains, then we tie a rope to the bumper and go for it.

Mostly ski Hatchers Purchase Creek, The Wall, Valdez,(just another 25 days till the Climb!) and next year will be pulling up some of the Skookum Creek Faces.

To clarify, we do not pull up Turnagain though, as this area is too busy and in my humble opinion, built for sleds.

Good post. I have ben curious how people set there sleds up. I ski a ton but the few times we go out on sleds it is always a cluster f**k dealing with the skis. If I had my sled set up for it maybe I would do it more. Typically I put my skis on my pack but a set up like yours would be alot nicer.
