I'm going to fire up my water machine and skip across the lake, then I'll ride my dirt machine for a while, tomorrow I hope to ride my snow machine/snowmobile/sled/snowgo/snocat.

Everyone on the west coast of Canada says, "let's go sledding", most people on the east coast of Canada say. "let's go skidooing" no matter what brand of snowmobile they ride.

Ski-Doo certainly did well in their marketing department back in the 70s!

Sleds. Around here we get a lot of "Going cattin' up X...." even for guys who ride doos and poos.

Now up in extreme North Alaska (read Inuit villages) they all call them "snogos".
