maybe we'll stumble across something cool.

what if you could build a tunnel out of titanium that was constructed with a thicker-than-average wall-thickness so that small capilaries could be 'hollowed' out in the tunnel ... and then they would effectivley transverse the entire area of the tunnel, providing uniform cooling (or heating) across the entire surface area of the tunnel ... thereby providing exceptional cooling, as well as providing heating in order to fight off excessive snow buildup over the entire surface area of the tunnel, in and out.

wow I'm bored haha :)

I've thought about adding a third carb on a twin cylinder twin carb engine. Not sure on the advantages but I thought it'd be cool to have the money to try something like that.
I always thought dual spark plugs(for each cylinder) was a cool idea derived from the 70's race sleds. I wants to try it on my sled but Cat beat me to it.

what about doing two smaller carbs per cylinder?

what about two smaller piston for each carb?maybe a v eight in line under the rider?

sled-puter. All the electronic gizmos on your sled, all talking to each other, controlled by a touch-screen... GPS, radio, bluetooth tether, EFI, gauges... datalogging galore...

but i'm kinda geeky like that

I would love to be able to just order cable extensions for the electical stuff on the sled.

If you put too tall of a riser on your sled you have to cut the wires and splice in extensions. It would be nice to just buy the extensions.

A sled that dont break, and boost on pump gas with high #'s and a track that works in just about every condition

Some sort of a universal parking aptitude test given and passed before you can get a sled so more than ten rigs can park systematically in a parking lot designed for fifty trucks and trailers.

Hahaha, if we could be so lucky.

A hydraulic brake lock that would be some sort of piston/plunger that is compression spring loaded so you pull it back (disengaging brake pressure) and put in a pin/keeper that is attached to you by tether like a kill switch. When you get bucked off it pulls the pin which allows the spring loeaded plunger to dynamite the brakes and lock up the track.

Might not be the ticket on a long/tall pull, but would have saved me $$$$ in tree hits while ditch diving or hammering the trail on the way down to the truck. I would probably be called the "Oh Sh!t". lol. EW

RETRAX adaptation :light::light::light:

but instead of wheels attach a big arse paddle

then when you go down hill you could push the button and have ski brakes...it would be EZ to adapt a tether switch to the ski brake so if you fell off the ski brakes would actuate.

the magazine ad I looked at had a servo motor to auctuate it as an option, with my paddle adaption that would be manditory so you could use it while on the sled

maybe you could even hook it to your regular hand brake on a rheostat, more you pull it the further the paddles go down??

I just want a helmet full faced or moto style to keep you warm, I also want to to cool you down when you sweat. I hate when they fog up and not have to layer underneath the helmet.

Amen

1) mounts for video camera

2) bolt in strengthening kit for xp suspension

3) on board diagnostics like o2 / fuel mixture, egt etc

4) proper tow hook so we don't ben dour rear bumprs when pulling a buddy out

5) factory installed variable handlebar position from a riser, not the entire steering post.

i know this is an old idea and far fetched but how bout a cheaper price tag? I mean if I'm gonna spend $10,000+ on a sled, it ought to come with a gauge package (egts, o2 sensor, fuel pressure, water temp) I just think if they are gonna charge something like that it should come with more options.

How about being able to plug your laptop in to your sled to see whats going on, change fuel maps, and be able to see exactly how your sled is running. If bikes can do it then why cant sleds.
