Let see them spring riding pics!! mudd & all!

post em lets see how dirty some of these sledds get going through mud, grass, moss and swaps to get to the snow!!

Let's not.

People watch this and use that against us.

You need to realize that people that are against snowmobiling are on these forums and use pictures and posts as reasoning and proof for shutting snowmobile areas down. I have seen people directly quote posts on here, defending their reasoning why snowmobiling should not be allowed in certain areas.

It's a sad world, but it is the way it is...

One of the local watch-dogs uses his valley newspaper in the area not only quotes SW posts but also used pics that have been posted on this forum also.

some of you guys should just calm down

You should let us know just exactly which posts you are referring to because you need to understand something. If you are referring to anything I've said....you need to step back and listen to what we are saying.

I have seen first hand that people watch this board and use direct quotes with the person's username in our small local newspapers AND they have submitted pictures that people have posted as well to try to incite negative sentiments against snowmobilers. They used SW member posted pics of legal riding areas (near the borders of closed areas) and wrongfully twisted them into evidence to support illegal sledding.

Don't, for ONE MOMENT, think that this board is private and immune to scrutiny by the public. IT's not hard for a watchdog to log in so he can see more than the first 5 posts (or whatever it is they can see). and don't think for a second that some watchdog won't PAY so he can monitor ALL posts. That is not beyond them to do that crap.

Even though you are young I know you've been on this board for a while and you should know by now how this stuff works with the watchdogs.

Very well said Scott. It seems most people don't realize this, till it effects their own personal riding areas.. I know I didn't understand the gravity of this issue till it happened to me, and my posts / threads on here were used on TAY.

You can't just bury your head in the sand here folks. There are much more then just die hard snowmobilers on here...

Envrionmentalists are like that little pain in your side or your chest or you knee that you ignore because it's nothing and it will go away.

Something (maybe your wife) tells you that you need to have it looked at and you tell her, "Nah, it's nothing. It'll go away. It'll be fine."

So you ignore it and it comes and goes...and you learn to live with it.

You learn to live with until you are up at 3:00 holding your side and calling the ER.

You get to the ER to find out you have a tumor the size of a baseball on your kidney. Turns out it IS malignant and has spread to your lymph glands. You have full blown cancer.

You could have taken care of it long ago when it was just a little pain...but you let it go cause you figured it was nothing. It got bigger and gained strength. Now it's kicking your arse.

That is how environmentalists are.

how about a spring driving pic. May 27, south of calgary

Google Keith Hammer Swan View Coalition. He's the Flathead's main extremist. He uses lots of pictures in his reports and seems to be very successful at shutting areas down. I don't even think he likes any humans to be in the woods.
