I am looking at buying 2012 pro from a guy that has 700 miles. He says that he has always run Legend oil in it. I have always heard that youre suppose to run the ves gold or ves race in these sleds. Does anybody know about this stuff? The sled is under warranty until 2015, does this void the warranty if something were to happen? I've just never heard of legend and wanted some opinions...

All I use is legend, zero problems and none of the corrosion you'll see using synthetics and it burns super clean. As for warranty they cant deny it as long as it meets industry standards and I think if any manufacturer demands you use their oil they have to supply it for free.

as RMS pointed out... the legend will give better corrosion protection inside of the engine compared to synth... and smells good too.
As far as high performance 2-stroke oils go the legend oil is made to a high standard.
As far as voiding the warranty, as long as it meets specs, they cannot deny claims based on the brand of oil you use. (same as with an auto mfg and motor oil)

It is the only oil i run in my 13 RMK Assault. And living in Northern Ontario Canada. We tend to ride in -20c to -35c all the time and i have never had a problem. I am slowly converting all my buds to Legend Oil.

I made the switch to Legend oil this year and so far love it. Will be tearing down my motor this summer to inspect. I put new top end in beginning of this year. If all looks well ill never run another oil again.

6 of us made the switch to legend from am soil last year and everyone loved it, 3 of the guys switched back because of the lack of availability. The BC supplier is terrible for communication and near impossible to contact. We ended up contacting the supplier out east and he was great, a great product just not sure why more people aren't carrying it?
