I'm writing a Lease up and I wanted to make sure I've got everything covered. Parties, Terms, Notices, Non Transfers, Insurance, etc. I thought it might be wise to include Act of God. Do I have it about covered? I'll entertain additions, deletions or corrections.
ACT OF GOD: Should the performance of the obligations of either party, Lessor or Lessee, under this lease be prevented or delayed by act of GOD, war, civil insurrection, fire, flood, storm, strikes, lockouts or by any law, regulation, or order of any federal, state, county, or municipal authority, including but not limited to brainless, laughable or imprudent arrangements attributable to the Obama administration, Congress or the Senate or by any other cause beyond the control of such party, such party’s performance under this lease to the extent it is so prevented or delayed shall be excused.
