LEAKY CAP

Any one know the exact location where leakage occurs from the oil cap? Finally got pissed enuf and determined the leak is from the vent on the smack dab top of the oil cap. Am I right or am I right? AIN'T RUNNIN' CHEAP OIL...

Arctic Cat cap #0670-871 works wonders. It has a check ball in it to stop leaks.

A few wraps of electrical tape on the tank threads works wonders for those that are leaking past the threads.

Thought I had a cap leak on a ZX. Replaced the cap and it still leaked. Turned out to be the neck right where it transitions to the tank. It was cracked about 1/3 of the way around. New tank and no leaks
