Leaking trail tank

Has anybody had there trail tank leak around this spot? Is there a rubber gasket on the underside? I'm not sure.... I didn't put it on. Leaked about a half tank out in 5 days. Could I fix with silicone? And if so what's the best to use? I was going to ride tomorrow.

Does the trail tank have a o-ring gasket like the stock tank? I can't take gas out or put sled on its face till the morning do to all the other broken sh*t in my life. Any heads up would be great.

?

not a big help but i bet they use the same o ring as stock? i would guess they pinched the o ring on install as they are a pain to put back as they grow when exposed to fuel.. i did repair mine when i did that with silicone to ride but you should get a new one coming julio

Its a flat rubber gasket stock from Yami. You will have to drain the tank then get a new gasket, some times the gasket warps when you pull them out so guys don't get them in flat when they re use the gasket. If its leaking you are going to have to pull the fuel pump, no way around it.

What M5 said. Not a big job once you get the fuel out. Just be careful pulling the pump. Its got the fuel level float attached.
