IDK about the rest of y'all, but I haven't been able to fetch a good 1/4" Stereo Jack to save my life.

My bane is that the V notch is always loose.
So I order a different set, and same Schidt.

The old skewl ones from Radio Shack never seemed to have any issues, but maybe that is b/c I was able to get just the ends and solder on my own warrs, and if it would have needed tightened up, then I could have pinched it.
(Don't know that _ that ever happened or not?)

But the 2 pc "roll your own" units are not all that good for power chord apps in the out of doors.
And I can't git inside to pinch the V down to tighten it up.
The V always seems to line up perfectly, but not tightly.
There is wiggle room fore and aft.

I finally fixed it!
I went'n fetched a 1/4" ID O-ring. This one is 1/16" thick, and it seems maybe a bit too much, and maybe I will try to grab a 1/32" some time if I think about it.
But as is - I am much better off now. I plug it in and it works, steady.
But with the 1/16" I think that it may want to unplug a little easier than it should, so I would go for the 1/32 ring and that may help that.

If this didn't work, I was going to look into some other interface connection altogether, but I think this will solve the problem now.
