Layering with knee pads

Just wondering for the upcoming season I got some new leatt dual axis knee pads just wondering how you guys layer with them. So I got the base long johns, joggers, and bibs. So if I put the knee pads on the base will they pinch in the joggers or should I get a brace sleeve? Then I can also use them as a lighter mid layer also

I have a few pairs of merino wool shorts that look like sweat shorts. Id say any fleece type short would be fine.

Ok we are also looking at braces for my dad how do you like the pods have you tried mobius ones?
The POD braces are super light weight and after having them on for a little while, you actually forget they are on. The knee guard portion is also removable if you happen to need them for other activities and don't need the guard. The POD's are also a "certified medical device" so depending on insurance and if there is a "medial need" for them, you could possibly get some coverage from insurance.

Overall, very happen with them thus far, just wish I would have started wearing them sooner!!

I run the Leatt knee shin guards and just wear them over my base layer leggings. That's it. An unistulated shell and base layer on the legs is fine 99% of the time.

I have the same knee pads. They are great. Summer moto I wear them just on skin. Winter I wear them over my compression leggings.
