Did someone piss in the snow gods cereal this fall? This is ridiculous! Staying home this weekend again, looks like next weekend too. I guess we can hope for February the way it's looking.
Al gore and the weatherman are to blame.
pretty sad statment when people are driving 18hrs to ride WC and it hasnt snowed in weeks.

We are hurting bad in MT too. The most disappointing thing is that the "experts" predicted a wet winter and it has been horrible. I have always been obsessed with the weather and can only remember one winter that has been this dry. The worst is when you look at the five day forecast and the highest precip chances are around 20 percent in the mountains. So depressing.

The ski business and farming or ranching are alot alike in the fact that you need to depend on the weather but you cant. It would nice to be able to plan the next years budget based on what some weatherman says but it just wont happen.

Hotel bookings are up 11% in Summit County, but those booking could have came from a year out. But people on the mountain are down (at the resorts). I watch the lows every night and the past few weeks it's been very warm. Which is bad for the little snow that we do have to make a good bonds, to hold up and last. I have nothing to back this up, but someone told me were on track for the least amount of snow in 30 years. I hope that statement doesn't come true.
