Finished the season on Brandywine yesterday. Drove to the end of the road and unloaded onto snow. About foot and half left in Brandywine meadows (melting quick). Rode a 110 K to the glacier and back, climbed anything I wanted to and as high as my peanuts would take me. The red snow algae is moving in at the tree line making for uneven melt and rough conditions. Lots of Grizzly tracks. Another week and the days will start getting shorter which means countdown to 2013/14!

I saw a few trucks with sleds on the back coming out of brandywine this evening on the way home. Crevasses scare me this time of the year!

Oh the crevasses are there! I know! Fell into a 70 foot one while riding in August a few years back and almost died. They sneak up on you before you know it! BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!!!
