You won't see that next week the water is up 40 feet. Everything looks different and FYI not a lot of beaches to choose from. Also watch out for the floating logs in the main channel, actually they are EVERYWHERE.

powell

had a nice trip....the lake is empty compared to past years...not of water but people, no lines at the boat ramp on saturdays,which in the past was quite a wait, ate lunch saturday afternoon at the restraunt...just three other tables occupied, few people in the marina store, and very few boats out cruising as usual....for the first time ever, in 23 years, I camped in Moki canyon, which I usually avoid cause it's swarmed with boats and now hardly anybody there...yes lots of floaters...

There is so much to see and do. Truely a beautiful place. My favorite is when the water is 80 degrees. Just like jumping in the bath water. You would have a great time. A lot of people like to sleep on the beach. There are a lot of options.:beer;
