Lake Powell Fishing - I need suggestions

I'm headed to Lake Powell this weekend. We are staying on a pretty cool houseboat. I think it's the Fantasy Voyager out of Bullfrog. Any suggestions on where to fish and what to use? I need all the help I can get.
Thanks,
Jeremy

At dark mount a spotlight on styrofoam so it floats but the light beem shoots into the water. Let that sit for about a half hour. you will soon see dozens of lil "minnow" type fish cycloning the beem with stripers periodically darting through the beam with a fish. Drop your line down with a one of those minnow things you buy at the marine. Put it lower, out of sight, right on the edge of the beam. Was fast and furious last time i did it.

Fished there a TON as a youngster. We always just trolled a spinner or used a crawler. Bloody Decks Fishing Forums is the place to go. Good buncha guys there, my summer hang out.

Hey Jeremy, just go out into Bullfrog Bay in the evening with Anchovies.
I never get to fish cuz I'm removing fish as fast as I can. Kids love it.:D:beer;

Fish finder is super handy dandy. Stay closer to the edges maybe 30 to 50 feet deep.

cat's like the tamersk's near the shorelines.. use some roast beef. I fished for them right off the house boat last time and struck them down.

I took a remote controlled boat, tied a line and hook on it with who knows what on the hook (probably stinky cheese). The damned catfish sunk my boat! about 10 min. later the boat popped up and the fish was worn out....so, drove the fish back to the houseboat!

Hilarious!

Just go to any of the marinas with a gallon of ice cream, you'll be able to catch them with your hands - it's incredible fishing!!!!:D

fishin

use the anchovies they sell at the marina, keep'em frozen till use otherwise they fall apart, i cut'em in thirds and use a big hook around the backbone, fish along steep walls, just let the bait fall down the edge....stripers like to cruise along the edges, catfish like the sandy bottoms, if you can catch a few lizards, the bluegill love'em, they also prowl the shoreline and will voraciously hit a live lizard....or you could troll with a silver spoon for smallmouth...make sure you get a license cause there are plainclothes officers ridin' around in fishin boats with binoculars, actin' like your bud till they get'cha...
