Lake Chelan, Any snow? Any Hills?

Thinking of going to Lake Chelan over Christmas. I haven't been there for at least 25-30 years. Back then we had only trail sleds. My son doesn't want to go unless there are any hills to climb. Are there any hills to climb? and is there any snow?

So where is the best place to start from and head for some hill climbing?

Best hills are further west....I'm launch at Antilon Lake, get up on top and start heading west. It will open up after you pass the road that drops down the other side to Gold Creek/Black Canyon, whichever one is further west, (I get those two mixed up)......Have fun...

any grooming yet

nope not yet still need some more snow and there are a few trees down up there but can go under or around them grooming wont start until mid month or so

As of today per the Forest Service, All trails in the Chelan area are open to ride on. Still no grooming yet but soon.

Grooming starts tonight. All trails should be groomed once by the end of the weekend (probably not stormy though)
