Lake Ann 3-27-10

Ended up going to Lake Ann area with tomMTX, lushbomb and their crew. Papa Bear and I were going to go to Gold Creek, but since he hasn't been to that area, we decided to hit Lake Ann.

It is a cool area. The trail up sure is a good warm up.... lol.

We played around in the Van Epps area?

Awesome no footed wheely.. ha ha

We then went and played over to Lake Ann and then up and over to the back side.

On the way back from van epps I played tag with a tree. Unfortunately, some branches were broken off and it left some nasty little stubs. Also, it was unfortunate that I was thinking like a football player, you know, lead with the shoulder. Anyways, the tree didn't give and it ripped a huge hole in the shoulder of my nice fleece coat and my wool sweater. My shoulder feels a little rough and looks nice and bruised and pretty scratched up this morning.

it was an awesome adventure sledding day out there yesterday.. sunny, good friends, good riding and touring you guys to some new zones.. glad u guys joined in!

funny, used to happen all the time, but this yr we always get a few board runs in on our adventures.. none of us rode our boards all day.. good thing bout having racks u don't even know they are there, so keep sledding!!

n e ways.. good fun, i love the adventure aspect of riding that area and bowl hopping..

we have gotten some killer runs over there before.. we carried our boards in the racks all day yesterday so's to look kewl actually.. we never rode them once.. the adventure was to fun to stop and ride boards..

haha man that looks like its gotta hurt today.. i got some shoulder pain to form the tumble in van epps when my sled went down the hill without me a couple hundred yards.. picked up the milk gallon this morn andalmost dropped it.. haha..

Awesome day, sun, good crew, I really enjoyed riding with everyone. Ruffy thanks for the inspirational discussion on that first nasty line in the ice pack woods. Good to get my kookness out early. Glad you made it out relatively unscathed Ruffy. I was so hyped when we hit Van Epps to find it relatively untracked.

we went in via the main route.. for those who become queezy at the site of chaincase..
