I just spoke with James at Hi Tech Motorsports in Billings, MT. He is trying to put together a Ladies Ride Clinic in the Big Horns in December sometime. He is planning on bringing in Amber Holt for some amazing riding tips and is hoping to get about 20-30 women together who are wanting to increase their confidence level in riding.

If interested, please call James at 406 652-0090 and give him your name. Let's get some girls together and make it happen!

Great idea Mtpow, I saw an incredible increase in my Wife's (and MY !) riding ability after working with Amber. And don't let the 'Basics' part fool ya . . . she is fantastic with any level rider.
I hope this works out !

Is it going to be free or cost, if so how much. I can get a few at the very least and would love to help if I can in anyway.

I am not involved in the planning of it, so don't know any additional details. You would need to call James for all the info. I am just wanting to spread the word and get people to sign up so that he can make it happen. I think it would be an incredible experience and hope enough people sign up.

Sounds sweet, i think there are enough ladies in this area to make it well worth the while!

SEVERAL ARCTIC CAT dealers are hosting demo clinics this year with Backcountry Basics as their guest. Some of these hosted clinics FOCUS IS TO CATER to ACCOMIDATE the FEMALE RIDER needs into backcountry style snowmobiling. Arctic Cat understands the IMPORTANCE for a LADY RIDER to improve in a COMFORTABLE NON-INTIMIDATING ENVIROMENT! The following links below are to dealerships hosted clinics. These clinics are part of regionally hosted Arctic Cat Dealer program to educate ALL levels of riders. These particular dealers listed below are holding events that include a “Ladies Only” clinic level I/II that will be followed with a more advanced traditional demo clinic the second day for ALL genders of Level II/III. All clinics have limited registrations spots and incorporate the new 2012 Proclimb chassis.

With speaking to these dealers most intend to have a “meet and greet” dinner the night before with Amber Holt for the ladies portion and then to follow the second evening with an Open House and instructional presentation for the public. This layout may vary between dealers and dates, so please check with the dealer nearest you on schedule layout and any other questions.

BCB is currently finalizing date details with Dealers from Western to Eastern US regions and internationally. As events are finalized it will be posted. If your dealer in your area is interested in holding an event, they can contact Backcountry Basics or their Arctic Cat DSM.

IMPORTANT:
PLEASE CONTACT THE DEALER DIRECT FOR QUESTIONS, DETAILS, AND TO REGISTER AS THESE ARE THROUGH THE ARCTIC CAT DEALERS.
On the topic of James at HI-Tech,I spoke with him last week and he is filling the list for the Ladies Ride clinics quickly and taking names for the second day “open” to everyone. "Ladies Only" portion of clinic is almost full. It is my understanding to hurry and contact him if you wants to do this!

Ok girls...we need some action for this ride to take place. Sounds like James needs about 4-6 ladies to sign up for this ride in order for it be a "GO". It is going to be on the Lovell side of the Big Horn Mountains on Saturday December 3rd. Amber Holt WILL be there teaching the clinic and the cost is $150. (I heard a rumor that her goal is to have every lady learn how to do a downhill U Turn by the end of the day) I don't know about you, but I have watched that in videos and thought "No Way".

There will be some people willing to transport sleds and I would be happy to take a trailer and have some girls ride with us. This sounds like an amazing opportunity and I really hope we can make it happen. I look forward to meeting some new girls to ride with and learn some amazing new skills on the mountain.
Please call James at Hi Tech Yamaha right away.

Last chance to register this week. GUYS: this would be a great early Christmas present for your lady. How could teaching her to be an even more confident rider not benefit everyone?

We don't get chances like this in MT often! Call James at Hi Tech!
