Just got back from 5 days of hunting 'eyes, busting waves, gallons of beer and several bottles of Crown. Talked the bush pilot who does deliveries into taking me up as I love to fly. Dude, I NEED floats

Used to go there with my dad in the 70's. Launched the boats out of Hudson, Ont. Unbelievable northern fishing back then. Big walleyes too. We were there before the houseboat craze got going. Good times.

Slu-shark (northern pike) fishing on a fly rod is the best fun you can have with your clothes on in the summer.

Some nice wallys, are they in deep water this time of year? Do you guys stay on houseboats? We fish near Chamberlain every spring, always wanted to try it in the fall, which is better?

nice pics switchback! I'm headed out tomorrow for my second trip north. cannot wait. in september we fish the red lake area, been up there many times. This trip we are headed to sioux narrows, hope the big eyes are biting.

Spring brings more fish but smaller. Late September and early Oct brings alot of fish also but bigger. It was tough last week. We worked from 8-28 ft. Caught bigger and more fish in 18-28 feet. Didn't catch nearly as many as previous yrs. We stay in a cabin. I prefer fall fishing better. Bigger fish and better weather.

fall fishing is way better, cause it kinda rolls into the next greatest season yet. fishing with a camera in a ice shack with a fire crackling away, i mean sledding season. hehe
