NOAA officially announced the start of LA Nina .
We are going to have a colder and wetter winter ! Although they are not sure how strong it will be yet . NOAA predicts the whole Pacific Northwest
Will feel the effects of this years LA Nina . That means good snowpack through the whole winter with colder temps to keep it around .
This is good news !

Such a damn relief too. Such a nice July right now. Temps in the 70's and low 80's. Looking forward to an early coming winter!

I am diggin this summer so far. A little rain, a little sun and cooler temps. If anything I really like that fact that fire season is WAAAAAY less extreme. Can't wait to see how much snow mother nature has planned for us.

The vine maples are starting to turn colors at 1500' which seems real early for that elevation in the coast range.

The one close to the road is red as well as the ones back by the big timber.
