KX500 fit kit problems

KX500 Fit Kit. I'm installing my new long track and the instructions say that it does not require a spacer on the left side of the left sub frame mount. Only problem is there is a 40 thousands gap. Pretty sure the frame will bend if it gets tightened up. is this a mistake with the fit kit? anyone else run into this?

To me it looks like your missing a peice. Ive got 4 spacers for my kx500 fit kit

thats a hell of a lot more than a 40 thousandths gap....thats like a half inch. not right

Ya I mounted mine last night and your missing a piece.. Mine was a very tight fit, had to use a ratchet strap to pull it into place!

According to the Timbersled fit kit it should have three spacers. What year is your bike. Is there a difference between certain year 500's ? Definitely looks like it should have another spacer.

My instructions say only three spacers but it needs four. Ill just have to make the third one or call timbersled. Seems everyone with a KX500 has 4 spacers. All KX500 are the same from 1989 to 2003

Were your 2 left spacers the same color code (Black)?

I dont remember what colour code they were.. I never got no instructions on whichone went where I just lined it up by eye and slide it together and it all lines up now

Four spacers on mine, too. The ski spindle looked goofy until I screwed the front axle in.

Made the missing spacer, both the left side spacers are the same size.
